Eva Barry

Eva V. Barry of Liberty, NY, a lifelong area resident died Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Achieve Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility, Liberty, NY.  She was 88.
The daughter of the late Earl and Eva Nutt Bivins, she was born June 5, 1928 in Liberty, NY.
Eva had worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Sullivan County; she enjoyed cooking and tending to her flower gardens.
Survivors include her daughter, Earlene Barry of Cochecton, NY; and one sister, Eleanor "Snookie" Edwards of Parksville, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harrison Barry, Sr.; two sons, Harrison Barry, Jr. and Danny Barry; and by eight siblings.
Visitation will be Wednesday (Today), May 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11 AM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Paul Ruter will officiate.
Burial will be in the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
