Eva J. Rossetti of Downsville, NY, a seamstress for Swing-N-Sway, Brooklyn, NY, and a long time area resident died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at her home. She was 93.
The daughter of the late Antonio and Guiseppa Roccaforte Adamo, she was born May 8, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY.
Eva was a communicant of the Church of the Holy Family, Downsville, NY; a member of the Women’s Club of Downsville; and a member of the Town of Colchester Senior Citizens.
Survivors include four daughters, Marie Marsalise and her husband Joseph of Commack, NY, Josephine Gervasi and her husband Robert of Glendale, NY, Antoinette Marsalise and her husband Bill of Huntington, NY, and Vita Noviello and her husband John of Downsville, NY; one sister, Fran Codispoti of Howard Beach, NY; one brother, John Adamo of Riverhead, NY; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Rossetti; one son, Michael Rossetti; and one sister, Jennie DiPietro.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Commack Abbey Funeral Home, 96 Commack Road, Commack, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Commack, NY.
Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
