Florence Bennett

Florence M. Bennett of East Branch, NY, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Roscoe Regional Rehabilitation and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. She was 95.

The daughter of the late John and Laura Brown Zoeller, she was born July 12, 1917 in Maybrook, NY.

Florence was a member of the East Branch Community Church; she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, fly tying and fishing.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol Groh and her husband Walter of Montgomery, NY; seven grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Bertha DeMao of Walden, NY.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leon F. Bennett on December 13, 1989, whom she married June 3, 1937.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 10-11AM in the East Branch Community Church, East Branch, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 AM in the church. The Rev. Paul Cicio will officiate.

Burial will be in the Horton Cemetery, Horton, NY.
