Frances Niforatos

Frances Myra Kervavas Niforatos, formerly of Roscoe, NY and Odessa, FL passed away on March 9, 2025. She was 89. The daughter of the late James and Sophie Kervavas, was born in New Haven, Connecticut on March 22, 1935. Frances was the devoted wife of Angelo Niforatos, from Kefalonia, Greece, who passed away in 2013. Together, they raised four children: Eleanor Kaimakliotis, who resides with her husband John in Cyprus; Thomas James Niforatos, who resides in Roscoe, NY; Demetra Niforatos of Gulfport, FL, and Christopher Angelo Niforatos of Odessa, FL. Survivors include: 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.

Prayer Service Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 5pm with Viewing/Wake to be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759 from 4pm to 8pm.

Funeral Service will be held at 11am Thursday, March 13, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 36 N. Pinellas Ave., Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689. With burial to follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
