Frances Tempel

Frances G. Tempel (nee Geiselmann), 90, of North Port, FL, formerly of Roscoe, NY passed away July 27, 2019 at her home.  She served as a Postmaster before retiring in 1989.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane Tempel of North Port FL; one son, Joseph A. Tempel and his wife Marybeth of Toms River NJ; one brother, Joseph Geiselmann and his wife Pam of El Jobean FL; three grandchildren, Joe Tempel, Rick Dresser, Kristen Amato and her husband Mike; one great granddaughter, Kora Amato; and many nieces and their families.

She was predeceased by husband, Francis “Rooster” Tempel on July 30, 2002.

Visitation will be Friday August 2, 2019 from 6 to 8pm at the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 3, 2019 at 10 AM in the Gate of Heaven Church, Highland Ave., Roscoe, NY.  Father Antony David will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
