Frederick Breiner

Frederick J. Breiner, Sr. of Delancey, NY, a retired Sergeant for the New York City Police Department and a long time area resident, died June 25, 2012 at the Margaretville Hospital, in Margaretville, NY. He was 72.

The son of the late Frederick and Madeline Ward Breiner, he was born August 10, 1939 in Valley Stream, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Breiner, at home; three sons, Frederick Breiner, Jr. and his wife Diane of Maryville, TN, Donald Breiner of Maryville, TN, and Hugh Breiner and his wife Mary of Baldwin, NY; one daughter, Denise Stanton and her husband Kevin of Oceanside, NY; nine grandchildren, Michael Breiner, Kevin Breiner, Kelly Rohrs, Katelyn Breiner, Renee Breiner, Jesse Rohrs, Ava Breiner, Shannon Stanton, and Michaela Stanton; one brother, Gerald Breiner and his wife Faith; three sisters, Marilyn Sharp, Joan Ferreria and her husband Joseph, and Janice Jeremiah and her husband Jerry; one sister-in-law, Nancy Kay Breiner; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Frederick was predeceased by one brother, Charles Breiner.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Funeral Services will be Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Father Patrick Hunt will officiate.

Burial will be in the Paige Cemetery, Downsville, NY.
