Gary Davis

Gary W. Davis of Downsville, NY, a retired Glazer for Lee's Glass and Mirror in Endwell, NY died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 74.

The son of the late Henry F. and Julia E. Lewanski Davis, he was born September 7, 1937 in Endicott, NY.

Gary proudly served Our Country in the United States Marine Corps. from 1956 to 1958; he enjoyed playing darts, hunting, fishing, building construction, wine making, boating, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife, Judith L. Van Order Davis, at home; two daughters, Lori Deno and her husband Kenneth of Downsville, NY, and Helen Davis and her fiancé David Crawford of Downsville, NY; one son, Paul Davis and his companion Rayeann Fox of Downsville, NY; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Bennett, Brittany Deno, Kendra Deno, Stefanie Davis, Paul Stein, Erin Stein, Lenny Adams III, and Heaven Adams; five great grandchildren, Brodie, Tyler, David, Jacob, and Adalina; and one sister-in-law, Pam VanOrder.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY. The Rev. Dale Ashby will officiate.
