George Pappas

George D. Pappas of Roscoe, NY, a retired corrections officer at Sullivan Corrections Facility, Woodbourne, NY, and a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, January 3, 2016 at his home. He was 64.

The son of Barbara Lake Pappas and the late Henry Pappas, he was born October 24, 1951 in Liberty, NY.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Lake Pappas of Roscoe, NY; and one brother, John Pappas and his wife Cindy of NC.

Funeral services will be private.
