Georgeanna Davis

Georgeanna M. "Gigi" McGuire Davis of Liberty, NY, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty, NY. She was 67.

The daughter of the late George and Leona I. Davenport Smith, she was born October 9, 1943 in Liberty, NY.

Gigi was a former member of the Sullivan County Basterettes #4526; she enjoyed ceramics and collecting teddy bears.

Survivors include two sons, Donald R. McGuire of Liberty, NY, and Michael J. McGuire of Loch Sheldrake, NY; her companion, Anthony "Tony" Cannoe, Jr. of Liberty, NY; two sisters, Patricia J. Maas and her husband James A. of Grahamsville, NY, and Diana Crescimanno and her husband Anthony of Royal Palm Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Christopher, Charles, and DeAnna; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Kersten will officiate.

Burial will be in the Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville, NY.
