Georgianna Snyder

Georgianna Beatrice (Bea) Snyder of Roscoe, NY, a loving wife and mother, became an Angel and passed through the Gates of Heaven on November 10, 2014 at the Laurel Ridge Healthcare Facility, Ridgefield, CT. She was 88.

The daughter of the late Oliver and Hilda Irene Linstrand Moshier, she was born February 20, 1926 in Hudson, NY.

Bea was a graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School, Montrose, NY, Class of 1944; a graduate of Vassar School of Nursing, Class of 1947. She was a retired registered nurse from Castle Point VA Hospital, Beacon, NY. She was a member of the Roscoe United Church and the Roscoe Garden Club; she enjoyed family, cooking, baking, and gardening.

Bea is survived by her 3 sons and their wives and partners, Thomas and Lynn Snyder of Canterbury, CT, Timothy Snyder and Joy DeNitto of Clinton Corners, NY, and Todd Snyder, Yorktown Heights, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchild Kate & Lily Gada of Norwich, CT and Jacob Snyder of Canterbury, CT.

Bea was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Snyder Jr, 1992; and daughter in-law, Alison Buckley Snyder, 2011.

Graveside services and burial will be Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11 AM in the Rosendale Plains Cemetery, Rosendale, NY. The Rev. Dale Ashby will officiate.

Memorial contributions in Bea's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
