Gerard "Jerry" Rathje

Gerard “Jerry” Rathje of Roscoe, NY, a retired mechanic for the Downsville Central School Bus Garage, Downsville, NY and a long time area resident, died Monday November 23, 2020 at Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton, NY.  He was 76.

The son of the late Albert and Patricia Timoney Rathje, he was born July 22, 1944 in Queens, NY.

Survivors include his daughter, Jerilynn Brock and her husband Martin of Roscoe, NY; one grandson, Donavin Brock of Roscoe, NY; several nieces and nephews, including his Godchildren Raegan Fletcher and Peter Tomasello; and his dear friend John Bussetto and his family.

He was predeceased by wife his wife, Jean P. Rathje.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
