Gladys Zane

Gladys E. Zane of Roscoe, NY, a retired branch manager for the Fleet Bank in Roscoe and a lifelong area resident died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her home. She was 74.

The daughter of the late George and Blanche M. Bleakley Marks, she was born July 10, 1937 in Roscoe, NY.

Gladys was a member of the United Church of Roscoe and a member of the church choir, a member and treasurer of the Salvation Army Local Service Club, a former member of the Riverview Cemetery Association, a former member of the Rockland Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, Richard "Ricky" Zane and his wife Patricia of Franklin, NC and Dennis Zane of Fishkill, NY; two sisters, Sharon Maus of Harris, NY and Elaine DeWitt of Livingston Manor, NY; one grandson, Donnavan Zane; one great grandson, Charles "CJ" Zane; one great granddaughter, Lilliana Zane; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Charles "Chucky", a granddaughter, Brittny, a grandson, Charles "Chas" and a sister, Janice Marks.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 29, 2012 for 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Funeral Services will be Monday, April 30, 2012 at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Dale Ashby will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
