Glenn "Buck" Edwards

Glenn “Buck” L. Edwards of Downsville, NY, a grade foreman for Local #754 in Chestnut Ridge, NY and a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the UHS Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY.  He was 72.

The son of the late Fenton and Elsie Jensen Edwards, he was born October 16, 1945 in Margaretville, NY.

Buck proudly served Our Country in the US Army and he was a member of the James S. Moore American Legion Post # 167; he enjoyed fishing, weekend gambling trips and most of all, spending time with his granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Amato Edwards, at home; one son, Michael Edwards and his fiancée Sue-Anne Cocks of Downsville, NY; one granddaughter, Hannah Cruz Edwards; two brothers, Robert Edwards and his wife Gail of Downsville, NY and Richard Edwards of Downsville, NY; one sister, Irene Schultz and her husband Don of Quarryville, PA; two sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Buck’s request, funeral services will be private.
