Harold Cartier

Harold "Harry" Cartier of Liberty, NY, a retired self-employed auto body repairman died on Sunday, December 18, 2016 the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 76.

The son of the late Edward and Marie Corbin Cartier, he was born December 31, 1939 in Queens, NY.

Harry proudly served Our Country in the US Army from 1962 to 1964 and he was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liberty, NY.

Survivors include one daughter, Vicky DiPaula of East Islip, NY; one son, Keith Cartier of Farmingdale, NY; one sister, Barbara Lynn and her husband Pat of Levittown, NY; five grandsons, Danny DiPaula, Timothy Callahan, Sean Callahan, Keith Cartier, Jr., and Nicholas Cartier; one great granddaughter, Arianna DiPaula; two nieces, Angela and Susan; and one nephew, Michael.

He was predeceased by his wife Marie Cartier on March 31, 2014.

Graveside services and burial will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:30PM in Calverton National Cemetery. The Rev. Patrick McNamara will officiate.
