Harris Warren

Harris Warren of Liberty, NY, a retired certified nursing assistant and a long time area resident, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh, NY. He was 89.

The son of the late Earl and Celie Dulitz Washofsky, he was born July 17, 1927 in New Orleans, LA.

Harris proudly served our country in the US Army during WWII.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennie F. Benoit and Elizabeth D'elia; two sons, Arrill S. Warren and David Gross; and three grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Riva Slabot; one son, Robert Gross; and his longtime companion, Betty Campiglia.

Funeral services will be private.
