Idella M. DiMarco of Roscoe, NY, a lifelong area resident, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick, NY. She was 98.
The daughter of the late Norman and Nora Keator Burton, she was born September 20, 1915 in Morrston, NY.
Idella worked as a waitress at the Campbell Inn in Roscoe for 12 years and the Roscoe Diner for 21 years. She was a member of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Floyd Keener American Legion Post # 315 Auxiliary in Roscoe.
Survivors include two sons, James N. Wilson and his wife Lillian of Gilbert, AZ and Frank L. DiMarco and his wife Betty of Slate Hill, NY; four granddaughters, Debra Friedl (Ed), Jami Williams (Ben), and Jodi Wilson of AZ and Kate McKenzie (Jason) of WA; six great grandchildren, Brianna Williams, James Robert Williams, Autumn Williams, Kati Williams, Beth Wilson and Liam McKenzie; great, great granddaughter, Holly Baj; and nieces and nephews, Mabel Bleakley, Arlene Keer and Stanley and Norman Kowalik.
Idella was predeceased by her husbands, James Patrick Wilson and Frank DiMarco, and her siblings, Pearl Roosa, Vinnie Rose, Dorothy Kowalik and Orman Burton.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 1-3 pm in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 3 pm in the funeral home. Virginia Bossley, Lay Reader, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Bon Air Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
