Iris Doland

Iris Rose Doland of Ferndale, NY, a retired nurse for over 40 years and a lifelong area resident, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at her home. She was 68.

The daughter of the late Francis and Vera Irene Banks Summerson, she was born January 20, 1947 in Roscoe, NY.

Iris loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin Labagh and her husband Austin of Youngsville, NY, and Jacqueline Goldworm of Sand Point, ID; three step-children, Denise Doland, Mark Doland and Michael Doland, all of Liberty, NY; many grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Doland; and one son, John Doland.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 4-6 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 6 PM in the funeral home. Deacon John Riley will officiate.
