James “Jimmy” was born in Staten Island, New York on June 1, 1956 and moved to Sullivan County with his parents and siblings at a young age.  He spent his childhood hunting, fishing, and helping on the farm that he and his family built on Aden Hill.  He graduated from Tri-Valley in 1974, where he freely dedicated his time to the FFA in various leadership roles. In his later years, Jimmy remained passionate about the family farm where he happily worked for the remainder of his life.  As a man of God, he was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Parish in Liberty where he dedicated his time as a head Usher and continued to serve his community and the Lord.
