James Mcrell

James Patrick McRell of Liberty, NY, a long time area resident and computer programmer for the Martin E. Segal Company, Manhattan, NY, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, NY. He was 63.

The son of the late William and Dorothy Jones McRell. He was born October 20, 1953 in the Bronx, NY.

James was a devoted catholic and an avid reader; and he was an awesome uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his brothers, William McRell and his companion Linda Pacios, David McRell and his wife Bernadette, and Andrew McRell and his wife Kelly; his sister Nancy Burke and her late husband Mickey Burke and his sister Mary Davis and her husband Claude; his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Liam, Megan, Dave, Kelly, Claude, Victoria, Nicole, Kristina, Matthew and Patrick.

Visitation will be Friday February 17, 2017 from 4 to 7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday February 18, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Aloysius Church, Church Street, Livingston Manor, NY. Father Edward Bader will officiate.

Burial will be in the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
