Janet Fersch

Janet L. Fersch of Oneonta, NY formerly of Roscoe, NY, a homemaker, died Monday, December 10, 2018 at the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta, NY.  She was 83.

The daughter of the late Robert and Mae Eggler Lindsley, she was born September 28, 1935 in Liberty, NY.

Janet was a member of the A.O. Fox Hospital Auxiliary in Oneonta; a member of the Oneonta Elks Lodge # 1312; and she had been a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rockland Hose Company #1.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Buck and her husband Robert of Roscoe, NY; three sons, William Fersch and his companion Barbara Lerner of Roscoe, NY, Thomas Fersch and his wife Melanie of Greenfield Center, NY, and David Fersch and his wife Susan of Davidson, NC; one sister, Carol Kavleski and her husband Alex of Liberty, NY; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and her dear friend, Arthur Gallucci.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1 PM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.

Burial will be private at the Riverview Cemetery in Roscoe, NY.
