Jared Doughty

Jared W. Doughty of Livingston Manor, NY, a retired custodian at Catskill Regional Medical Center and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  He was 77.

The son of the late Clifford and Lena Ward Doughty, he was born November 13, 1943 in Liberty, NY.

Jared was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Livingston Manor, NY; a former longtime member of the Town of Liberty Volunteer Ambulance Corp.; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, and four wheeling.  He was a gun enthusiast and his handle was “Timberwolf.”

Survivors include his wife, Antoinette Grieco, at home; one son, Nick Grieco and his wife Lisa of Utica, NY; one sister, Sharon Van Etten of FL; two grandchildren, Jordyn and Nicholas; one niece, Cheri Dardeen; one nephew, Mark VanEtten; and three cousins, Gene Burns, Terry DeWitt and Danielle DeWitt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 10 AM in St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Livingston Manor, NY.  Father Antony David will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Livingston Manor, NY.
