Jean Barnes

Jean T. Barnes of Roscoe, NY, and Fort Pierce, FL, a retired accountant for the Roscoe Nursing Home, Roscoe, NY, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at her home. She was 86.

The daughter of the late Paul and Frances Steinkrueger DeVantier, she was born July 17, 1927 in Bergan County, NJ.

Survivors include her husband, Charles A. Barnes, at home; one son, Michael Barnes of Downsville, NY; one daughter, Laura Niforatos of Glen Ellyn, IL; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11:30 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY. Father Edward Bader will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
