Jean Sprague

Jean Sprague of Livingston Manor, NY, a retired clerk for the US Post Office in Jeffersonville, NY and a lifelong area resident, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at her home. She was 77.

The daughter of the late John and Helen Ackerley Conklin, she was born November 9, 1935 in Margaretville, NY.

Jean had attended the United Methodist Church of White Sulphur Springs, NY; she loved and enjoyed all of her family and friends and they shared the same feelings with her.

Survivors include two daughters, Teri Josephs and her husband Wayne of South Fallsburg, NY, and Tracey Sprague and her companion Scott Harden of Auburn, NY; two grandchildren, Amanda Josephs and Jared Josephs; several nieces and nephews, and two granddogs and a grandcat.

She was predeceased by one sister, Doris Conklin.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley Liberty, NY. The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.
