It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, and brother, Jerry William Helmuth, who fell asleep in death on Saturday, June 29th.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, his children Jeremy and wife Christina, Alyssa and husband Oscar, Jared and wife Aubrey, Jesse and wife Alexandria, brother Gary and wife Susan, niece Shannon, and nephew Garth.
Jerry was born on December 11, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY to Jerry and Faye Helmuth. He grew up in Youngsville, NY on Circle H Farm with his brother Gary. Through his adult life he worked at Clint P. Tompkins, Killian Transfer Company, and Klein & Sons Logging.
Throughout his life, Jerry was known for his unwavering kindness and generosity. He touched the lives of countless people through his warmth and genuine concern for others. He was a dedicated member of the Liberty Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, loved to share his beliefs with others, and was happiest when he was able to help others in any way.
Above all else, Jerry cherished his family. He was a loving husband to Patricia, a devoted father to Jeremy, Alyssa, Jared, and Jesse. His family meant the world to him, and he always put their needs above his own.
The absence of Jerry leaves an immense void in our lives, but his example of love, kindness, and integrity will forever be remembered as something worthy of imitation by all. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and spending time with him.
A memorial service will be held on July 14th, 2024 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Liberty, NY at 1:30pm; refreshments to follow. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring and celebrating his life.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their condolences and support during this difficult time.
