Jesse Kinney

Jesse W. Kinney of Hurleyville, NY, a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY.  He was 52.

The son of Jesse A. and Shirley Bertholf Kinney, he was born December 30, 1969 in Liberty, NY.

Jesse worked construction for most of his life; he enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, racing snowmobiles and just being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Trishia DeWitt Kinney of Liberty, NY; his parents Jesse A. and Shirley Kinney of Ferndale, NY; two sons, Jeremy Kinney of Alexandria, VA and Devin Kinney of Woodridge, NY; two daughters, Jessica Kinney and her significant other Corey Kavleski of Liberty, NY and Jorja Kinney of Liberty, NY; one brother, Darin Kinney and his significant other Terri Risko of Forestburgh, NY; two grandchildren, Aubree and Trevor; two nephews; his dear friend, Carrie Wood of Ellenville, NY; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog, Wrangler.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 3 to 5 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.  Funeral services will begin at 5PM in the funeral home. Father Edward Bader will officiate.

Memorial contributions in his name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
