Jo-Anne Wright

Jo-Anne Wright of Roscoe, NY a lifelong area resident died Monday October 21, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. She was 67.

The daughter of Charlene Baum Meola and the late Joseph Meola, she was born October 28, 1956 in Hoboken, NJ.

Jo-Anne had worked as a teacher’s aide for 34 years at the Livingston Manor Central School; she was an active Class Advisor; and helped with the Ski Club and PTSA. Jo-Anne was a former member of the Livingston Manor Rotary Club; a former Girl Scout Leader; former Little League Coach; and she enjoyed camping.

Survivors include her daughters, Jessica Gould and her husband Robert of Livingston Manor, NY and Jennifer Wright of Livingston Manor, NY; her mother, Charlene Meola of Roscoe, NY; one brother, Jeffrey Meola and his wife Tracy Darder of NC; six grandchildren, Samantha Quick, Robert Gould Jr. (Renee), Joseph Gould, Jewel Wright, Jaida Gould, and River Balzano; and one great grandson, Jace Quick.  She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Meola, Sr; three brothers, James Meola, Joseph Meola, Jr. and Johnny Meola.

A celebration of life will be celebrated in August of 2025. Dignified cremation provided by Harris Crematorium LLC.
