Joan Oliver

Joan Arlene Oliver, 83, passed away early Sunday morning December 30th 2018 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, NY. The daughter of the late Howard and Mildred Tompkins Kauffman, she was born January 11, 1935 in East Branch, NY.

Joan is survived by her loving brother Bill Kauffman, Sr.; three children, Marilyn Ebert, James Oliver and Judith Rosenberger. Joan loved her family; she had 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Joan was a nature enthusiast and had an extraordinary green thumb. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed quilting along with other crafts. She carried on the family tradition of making wreaths and garland for Christmas. Also, she was an avid baker. Everyone was always welcome and greeted with her beautiful blue eyes. She will be deeply missed by all.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday January 5, 2019 at 1:30 pm in the East Branch Fire Hall, East Branch, NY.
