Joanne Botsford

Joanne Botsford of Loch Sheldrake, NY, a home maker and a long time area resident, died Friday, October 21, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 80.

The daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Lanzaro Palmer, she was born April 14, 1942 in Stamford, CT.  Joanne enjoyed attending car shows.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Botsford of So. Fallsburg, NY, Edward Botsford of Loch Sheldrake, NY and Mark Botsford and his companion Burdell Astras of Loch Sheldrake, NY; one daughter, Lynda Vega and her husband William of Loch Sheldrake, NY; five grandchildren, Stephen Merchant, Christopher Merchant, Elizabeth Merchant, Brandi Merchant, and Thomas Botsford; and three greatgrandchildren, Alexandria Entenmann, Oliver Merchant and Cori Merchant.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Botsford on January 22, 2018.

Visitation will be Monday, October 31, 2022 from 9 AM to 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.  Burial will follow at the Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
