John Munoz

John G. Munoz of Woodridge, NY, formerly of Loch Sheldrake, NY, a retired maintenance supervisor for residential housing facilities in Sullivan County and a stone mason, died Sunday February 5, 2023 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  He was 70.

The son of Juan Rodriguez and Inez Perez, he was born February 20, 1952 in Middletown, New York and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. John was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Loch Sheldrake, NY.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and baseball.

Survivors include his wife Jannette M. Edwards Munoz, at home; four sons, Mark Jewis, Taurus Lopez, Johnny Munoz and his wife Sara, and Stephen Munoz; four daughters, Katie Hobbs and her husband Ryan, Faith Munoz, Juanita Barotti and her husband William, Jr., and Marcelina Patton and her husband David; several brothers, sisters, grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 10 AM - 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 11 AM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Carl Caskey will officiate.

Burial will be in the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, New York.
