John Wall

The Reverend John G. Wall of Downsville, NY, a retired Methodist Minister for the NY Conference who severed in Walton, Downsville, and other area churches, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Roscoe Regional Rehabilitation and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. He was 85.

The son of the late Gordon and Grace Murphy Wall, he was born November 8, 1927 in Hoboken, NJ.

John proudly served Our Country in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife Marjorie Schulze Wall, at home; one son, Gordon A. Wall and his wife Margaret of Orange, CT; one daughter, Martha Jean Wall of Colorado; his grandchildren, Ashley Relyea, Derek Wall and his wife Brittney, Matthew Korkos, and Maria Korkos; one great grandson, Ethan Robert Wall.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Skylar Marie Wall.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 10-11AM in the Colchester Community United Methodist Church, Main Street, Downsville, NY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11 AM in the church. The Reverend Dale Ashby will officiate.
