Joseph Meola

Joseph J. Meola, Jr. of Roscoe, NY, a heavy equipment operator and a lifelong area resident died Monday, January 5, 2015 at his home. He was 56.

The son of Charlene Baum Meola and the late Joseph J. Meola, he was born June 8, 1958 in Callicoon, NY.

Joseph was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 315, Roscoe, NY.

He is survived three daughters, Samantha Meola of Delhi, NY, Christina Gallagher and her fiancAC. Robert Parsons of Edmeston, NY, and Casey Palmatier of Delhi, NY and their mother, Donna Meola; his mother, Charlene Meola of Roscoe, NY; two brothers, James Meola and his wife Sally of Roscoe, NY, and Jeffery Meola and his wife Tracey of Callicoon, NY; one sister, Jo Anne Wright of Livingston Manor, NY; grandchildren, Lillian, Kaitlyn, Olivia, William, Sophia, Zakary, Ayden, Gram, and Montana; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Meola; and one brother, John Meola.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 2-5 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.
