Kathleen Deckelman

Kathleen A. Deckelman of Roscoe, NY, a home maker and a long time area resident, died Sunday, April 28, 2019 at her home.  She was 82.

The daughter of the late Edward and Alice Brothers McKervey, she was born December 31, 1936 in Queens, NY.

Survivors include two daughters, Christina Bowers and her husband Ray of Roscoe, NY and Katherine Doyle of Germantown, NY; one son, Thomas Houston of FL; two sisters, Dorothy Derby of FL and Veronica Graden and her husband Paul of Brooklyn, NY; one brother, Joseph McKervey and his wife Beverly of TN; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard Deckelman on March 13, 2000; one son, Samuel Houston; one daughter, Alice Houston; two sisters, Mary Ellen and Gloria; and three brothers, Edward, Richard  and Gerard.

Burial will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Obernberg, NY.
