Kathleen Greenthal

Kathleen Greenthal of Roscoe, NY, a homemaker and a long time area resident, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. She was 82.

The daughter of the late John and Mary Mollaney Regan, she was born May 12, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY.

Kathleen had worked for many years at the Department of Welfare in Hackensack, NJ. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Obernburg, NY;

Survivors include her husband Bernard Greenthal, at home; one daughter, Bonnie Schechter and her husband Mitchell of West Milford, NJ; two sons, Brian Greenthal and his wife Donna of Roscoe, NY; and James Greenthal of Ft. Lee, NJ; one sister, Arlene Fenton and her husband Daniel of Callicoon, NY; four grandchildren, Sara Schechter, Adam Schechter, Stefani Oblak, and Catherine Greenthal.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Obernburg, NY. Father John Bida will officiate.
