Kristin Erickson Crover

Kristin Suzanne Erickson Crover Kristin was born on Long Island, NY to George J. and Vera (Nystrom) Erickson and was raised in Merrick. She passed away in Liberty, NY on March 2, 2019.

She graduated from Calhoun H.S. and earned a BA from Long Island University- Stony Brook Campus.

Kristin married Richard Crover in 1994 and together they had two children, James Ryan and Erin Elizabeth. While on Long Island Kristin worked in the title business. She later moved with her family to upstate New York where she continued to work as a tax preparer, at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, and Resorts World Catskills.

Krisitn enjoyed camping, cooking, and yard work. She loved the Catskill Mountains and the Neversink River! She had a wonderful sense of humor.

She was a faithful pen pal to her father in San Diego sending an assortment trivia along with her letters, much to his delight.

Kristin is survived by her children James and Erin, her father George Erickson, siblings Kathryn (Ed) Southard, George Erickson, Kim (Kenneth) Besel, and Keith Erickson, her former husband Richard Crover, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Vera and her sister/godmother Joan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Hudson Bank, 1987 State Route 52E, Liberty, NY 12754 to help with expenses for her children.
