Laura Kinne

Laura Frances Kinne of Roscoe, NY, a long time area resident, died Monday August 15, 2016 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab. and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. She was 89.

The daughter of the late Rupert Bertram Barton and Margaret O'Connor Barton, she was born December 4, 1926 in Norwalk, CT.

Laura was a retired bookkeeper and librarian; a member of the United Church of Roscoe and a Sunday School teacher; and a member of the Roscoe-Rockland Garden Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Zschack and Laura Jennings both of Roscoe, NY; one sister, Eileen Urda of West Milford, NJ; one brother, Harold Barton of Wilton, CT; one Goddaughter, Margaret Wright of West Milford, NJ; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wesley Kinne and one daughter, Barbara Tappan.

Funeral services will be private.
