Laurie Beimler

Laurie Beimler of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Liberty, NY, a human resource officer for Open Text Corporation, Tucson, AZ, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at her home. She was 58.

The daughter of the late Rev. George and Ruth Eggert Beimler, she was born April 18, 1957 in Danbury, CT.

Survivors include her brother, Gregg Beimler and his wife Teri of Liberty, NY; two nephews, Nik and Jack; and her dachshund, Gracie.

Music was Laurie's passion in life, from Tchaikovsky to the Moody Blues. Laurie graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in Music Education. She proudly carried on the family tradition of raising dachshunds. We will miss her sarcasm, intelligence, and quick wit; but most of all we will miss our loving and compassionate sister, aunt, and sister-in-law.

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11 AM in the First Presbyterian Church, So. Main Street, Liberty, NY. The Rev. Sally Baumler will officiate.

The Family will be receiving friends at the White Sulphur Inn, State Route 52, White Sulphur Springs NY, following the memorial services.
