Linda Giacalone

Linda A. Giacalone of Liberty, NY, a homemaker and longtime area resident, died Saturday, March 19, 2022 peacefully at her home.  She was 57.

The daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy McCarthy Cullen, she was born on June 8, 1964 in Queens, NY.

Linda was known for her sense of humor, her willingness to help others, and for the deep love she had for her three daughters.  She enjoyed tending her flower plants, loved small dogs, and cherished any time spent with her girls.  Linda strongly believed in the promise of the resurrection and that she would be reunited with her loved ones in paradise.

Survivors include her three daughters, Nicole Giacalone of Woodbourne, NY, Melissa Giacalone of Napanoch, NY, and Angela Giacalone of Harris, NY; her four sisters, MaryAnn, Barbara, Patricia, and Nancy; her two brothers, Thomas, and Kevin; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Mildred.  Linda is predeceased by her brother, James Cullen.

At this time Linda’s family has chosen to celebrate her life privately.
