Linda & Richard Curry

Linda A. Curry of Williamsburg, VA, formally of Roscoe, NY; January 21, 2018; Age 69. Loving wife of Richard J. Curry Sr., caring mother of Richard Jr., Steven (Sarah), Timothy (Ellen), and adoring grandmother (Nana) to Hunter, Emily, Dallas, Olivia, Simeon, Sophronia, Mary, and Elizabeth. Cherished daughter of late Walter C. (Genevieve J.) Lowry, sister of the late Mary Bonvicin, and 10 nieces and nephews.

Richard J. Curry Sr. of Williamsburg, VA, formally of Roscoe, NY; January 23, 2018; Age 73. Loving husband of Linda, caring father of Richard Jr., Steven (Sarah), Timothy (Ellen), and admired grandpa “pal” (Pop pop) to Hunter, Emily, Dallas, Olivia, Simeon, Sophronia, Mary, and Elizabeth. Cherished son of late Thomas J. Sr. (Elizabeth) Curry, beloved brother to Thomas Jr. (late Lorraine), the late Robert (Marianne), Kevin (Phyllis), and 10 nieces and nephews.

Together they served their community and family in many ways. Linda fulfilled her dream to care for others as a nurse’s aide at the Roscoe Nursing Home, and later as a nurse in Harris, NY and Williamsburg, VA. Together they served on the Rockland Fire Department, Linda on the auxiliary and Richard as a volunteer firefighter. Richard enjoyed driving a truck, and frequently assisted friends and neighbors on various projects. They attended Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in Roscoe.  Among other activities, they enjoyed playing games and going to amusement parks with their boys, camping, fishing, baseball, traveling, and spending time with their grandchildren.

An internment service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Riverview Cemetery in Roscoe, NY at 3:00 PM.
