Lori Bennett

Lori J. Bennett of Downsville, NY, a Corporate Risk Manager with CUNA Mutual and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the O'Conner Hospital in Delhi, NY. She was 48.

The daughter of Ronald and Germaine Babcock Hayden, she was born March 30, 1964 in Walton, NY.

Lori was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Downsville, NY; she graduated from Downsville Central School and Sullivan County Community College and she had worked for Sidney Federal Credit Union for twenty years before being employed by CUNA. She had been a marathon runner.

Survivors include her parents, Ronald and Germaine Hayden of Downsville, NY; one brother, Randy Hayden and his wife Olga of West Windsor, NY; two aunts, Linda Northrup and her husband Roger of Walton, NY and Gloria Babcock of Binghamton, NY; and two nephews, Carl and Marc; one niece, Alexandra Vasquez; and several cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Rhonda Hayden.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 2 PM in the Colchester Community Church Main Street, Downsville, NY. The Rev. Michael Shank will officiate.

Burial will be in the Paige Cemetery, Downsville, NY.
