Lynn M. Blackwell of Liberty, NY a home maker and a long time area died April 20, 2013 at the Newark University Hospital, Newark, NJ. She was 50.

The daughter of John and Eleanor Bonanno Muggleston, she was born July 21, 1962 in Bronx, NY.

Lynn was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Liberty, NY; she was a graduate of Liberty Central School, Class of 1980; she attended Onondaga Community College; she was a member of the Liberty Elks Lodge # 1545; and a member of the Sullivan County Corporative Extension Community and Science Program; she enjoyed cooking, crafts, and camping. Lynn had been an employee of Sullivan County ARC from 1986 to 2008.

Survivors include her husband, James D. Blackwell, at home; a daughter, Katelyn Ann Blackwell, at home; a son, James Dylan Blackwell, at home; her parents, John and Eleanor Muggleston of Fernandina, FL; and cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In a family statement it was said, "Lynn was a friend of many and she had a way of lifting the spirits of those who surrounded her. She was a devoted wife and her kids were her life."

Visitation will be Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

The Liberty Elks Lodge # 1545 will conduct services Thursday at 7 PM in the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday, April 26, 2013 at 12 Noon in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 264 North Main St., Liberty, NY. Monsignor Edward Straub will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery Cold Spring, Liberty, NY.

Memorial contributions in Lynn's name may be made to Bryce Rogerson, our friend who is awaiting a heart transplant, 173 Thunderhill Road, Woodbourne, NY 12788.
