Maddelena Crozzoli

Maddelena "Nana" Crozzoli of Liberty, NY passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris, NY surrounded by her family.  She was 94.

The daughter of the late Antonio and Matilda Menegon, she was born April 17, 1927 in Tramonti Di-Sopra, Italy.

Those who knew Nana, Nanny, or Ma, she made you smile every time you saw her.  She was feisty, independent, and hard working.  As a native of Italy, she loved to sew, plant and enjoy taking care of flourishing flower gardens.

She is survived by her sons, Giovanni Crozzoli and his wife Trudy and Antonio Crozzoli and his wife Pam, her grandchildren, Derrick, Jamie, and Michael; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and one sister, Matilda "Tillie".  She was predeceased by her husband Marino, her parents, and one brother, Leo Menegon.

Graveside services and burial will be Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 1 PM in the Liberty Cemetery, Cold Spring Road, Liberty, NY.  The Rev. Edward Sostak will officiate.  Following the burial, there will be a gathering at Hanofee Park at 2 PM for a Celebration of her Life.

Memorial contributions in Nana's name may be made to the Liberty Fire Department, 256 Sprague Ave. Liberty, NY 12754 or a charity of ones' choice.
