Maria Helmick

Maria L. Helmick of Liberty, NY, a long-time area resident, died Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 58.

The daughter of Richard and Mary E. Talini Eichner, she was born October 24, 1964 in New Jersey.

Maria had worked at Burger King in Liberty, NY for many years; she enjoyed attending concerts and listening to music; and she loved animals.

Survivors include her cousins, Maureen Johnson, Deborah Votee, Thomas Votee, Jeanne Melchick, and Patricia Sartori. She was predeceased by her husband, Elvis "Bud" Helmick.

Graveside services and burial will be Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 5:30 PM in the Calvery Cemetery, Youngsville, NY.
