Martha Estevez

Martha C. Estevez of Parksville, NY, a retired Medical Assistant and a long time area resident, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, NY. She was 70.

The daughter of the late Andres E. and Maria Teresa Melendez Alejandro, she was born June 20, 1945 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Martha was a Communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Liberty, NY.

Survivors include her son, Victor Estevez of Liberty, NY; two sisters, Doris Alejandro of Parksville, NY and Ilena Helgeson of Florida; and three nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Victor F. Estevez.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church 264 North main Street, Liberty, NY. Father William Scafidi will officiate.

Memorial contributions in Martha's name may be made to St. Peter's Church 264 North Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754.
