Mary Cheska

Mary Cheska of Downsville, NY, formerly of New York City, a retired registered nurse for Belleview Hospital in NYC and Chapin School in NYC and a long time area resident, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility, Liberty, NY. She was 98.

The daughter of the late Alex and Polly Coba Cheska, she was born June 25, 1912 in New York City, NY.

Survivors include a nephew, Joseph Banker and his wife Lesley of Thousand Oaks, CA.

Graveside services and burial will be Saturday May 14, 2011 at 11 AM in the Paige Cemetery, Downsville, NY. The Rev. Dale Ashby will officiate.
