Mary A. Czak of Ferndale, NY, a home maker and a longtime area resident, died Friday, July 27, 2012 in the Roscoe Regional Rehab and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. She was 93.
The daughter of the late John and Josephine Buczko Paczkowski, she was born September 18, 1918 in Queens, NY.
Mary was a Communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Monticello, NY. She enjoyed spending time with her family, tending her flower gardens, knitting and taking trips with the Livingston Manor Senior Citizens group.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Froehlich and her husband Dennis of Ferndale, NY; two sons, Raymond Czak and his wife Marsha of Dayton, Montana and John Czak and his wife Kim of Springwater, NY; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-eight years, Milton Czak on January 12, 2003 and by one grandson.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the residents at the Roscoe Rehab & Residential Health Care Facility for the time that Mary was part of their family and to the staff for the compassionate care they provided.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 10 AM in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church Broadway, Monticello, NY. Father Timothy Wiggins will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Livingston Manor, NY.
