Mary Dette Clark

Mary Dette Clark of Greenlawn, NY, a former resident of Roscoe, NY, died Saturday, January 27, 2024.  She was 92.

Mary was an extraordinary fly tyer and loved helping in the family business with her parents and grandson.  Over the years, Mary’s interests included golf, tennis, being an avid reader of mystery books, a member of a book club, traveling, being a dedicated fan to the NY Mets, and especially enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her two sons, Gary and Alan; two daughters, Linda and her husband Frank, Gail and her husband Ben; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Eric.

She was predeceased by her parents, Walter C. and Winfred Ferdon Dette; her husband, Eugene Clark; and her brother, Walter Dette.

Burial will be in the Bon Air Cemetery, Roscoe NY, in the spring. 

A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum, 1031 Old Route 17, Livingston Manor, NY 12758.
