Maurice Early

Maurice W. Early of East Branch, NY, a retired construction worker for Powerlines, New Hartford, NY, and a lifelong area resident, died Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 84.

The son of the late Leroy and Lena Mudge Early, he was born February 27, 1929 in East Branch, NY.

Maurice was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge # 552 of Hancock, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Cox Early, at home; four sons, M. Daniel and Susan Early of Downsville, NY, Shawn and Cindi Early of East Branch, NY, Peter and Debbie Early of East Branch, NY, and David Fisk and Pamela Rourke of Swan Lake, NY; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one brother, Loren Early.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY. The Rev. Dale Ashby will officiate.

Burial will be in the East Branch Cemetery, East Branch, NY.
