Melissa Lee Elmore

Melissa Lee Elmore of Downsville, NY, a retired clerk for the Sunoco Country Store in Downsville, NY and a lifelong area resident died Friday, March 7, 2025 at her home. She was 48.

The daughter of Charles Elmore and the late Norma Keator Elmore, she was born April 29, 1976 in Walton, NY.

Melissa is a former member of the Downsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Downsville First Aid Squad.

Survivors include her son, Kody Fletcher and his companion Madison Greene; her father, Charlie Elmore; four brothers, Charlie Elmore and his wife Kim, Brian Elmore and his wife Traci, David Elmore and his wife Tammy and Chris Elmore and his wife Kristen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2025 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.  Burial will be in the Paige Cemetery, Downsville, NY, in the spring.
