Michael Giardina

~~Michael A. Giardina of Parksville, NY, an employee for the Trading Post, Liberty, NY and a long time area resident died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his home. He was born May 18, 1955 in Asti, Italy. He was 62.
Michael loved motorcycles, fishing, card games, and camping. He was the right hand man to the administrator at Daytop Village, Inc. where he was passionate about his job in the human services field; and he had also worked at The Home Depot in Monticello, NY.  He was an avid New York Yankees Fan.  He loved dogs especially Maggie, Mollie and Abbie.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Jennifer Hendrickson of Parksville, NY; his niece, Jennifer Ognibene of CO; and his nephew, John Michael Ognibene of CO; and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents and sister.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11 AM in the White Lake Reformed Presbyterian Church, Route 17B in White Lake, NY.  The Rev. David Coon will officiate.
Burial immediately following will be in the Liberty Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
