Miriam P. Rotun

Miriam P. Rotun of South Fallsburg, NY, a retired bookkeeper and longtime area resident, died Saturday,April 12, 2025 at the Achieve Rehab and Nursing facility in Liberty, NY. She was 92. The daughter of the late Hyman and Fannie Pearl Zlotnickowitz, she was born November 3, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY.Miriam was an avid reader. She was a strong swimmer and volunteered as a lifeguard at the Timber Hill Community Pool.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Siegel and her husband Stephen of Swan Lake, NY and Sharon

Rotun of Westchester, NY; two sisters, Clara Nemrowsky of Tamarac, FL and Yolanda Dressin

of Tamarac, FL; one grandson, Adam Siegel and his wife Rachel of Robbinsville, NJ and one great grandson,

Ezra Siegel. She was predeceased by her husband Teddy Rotun on November 18, 2010 and her older brother Jack Sloane in 2019.

Private funeral services were held in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Burial was in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY.
